Solution to solve Corel Painter X startup error

Symptom:

1. Got below error when start Corel Painter X on my WinXP
   "This copy of Painter has been damaged or illegally moodified. Please reinstall from your original disk"
2. It can not be fixed even if I reinstall the software

Solution:

1. START -> RUN -> type "REGEDIT"
2. Search for all "PROTEXIS" values (two of them) and DELETE. Be careful that you only delete these files and back-up registry before messing with anything.
